FactoryTalk Audit

FactoryTalk® Audit is the part of the FactoryTalk Services Platform that uses FactoryTalk Diagnostics, along with FactoryTalk Directory and FactoryTalk Security, to collect special messages that capture changes made in both configurations or a running system. These special messages are called "audit messages." Audit messages contain additional information about who made the change and from what computing resource and which product. These audit messages are required by regulatory agencies to be secured and managed along with the definitions of the users who made the changes. The ability to store and manage this information, along with tools to view and manage change, are also available in FactoryTalk AssetCentre.

Features

FactoryTalk Audit collects messages that document changes done by users during design, management and operation of production. These messages are captured for further analysis or compliance reporting. FactoryTalk Diagnostics and FactoryTalk Audit provides historical records that help users get consistently formatted answers to questions about: what happened, when did it happen, what computers, users or products were involved and what were the responses either by the system or users.

Benefits

With FactoryTalk Audit, any auditable changes made by users or the system are captured and forwarded to a secure location for action or analysis. FactoryTalk Directory and FactoryTalk Security allow resources, users, and groups to be defined once and incorporated into the audit messages automatically.
